At Mylee London, sustainability is at the forefront of our operations. We are dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint and embracing eco-friendly practices.

 

One of the key initiatives we've implemented is the transition to plastic-free packaging materials. We have replaced traditional padded envelopes with plastic-free alternatives, and our packaging tape is now entirely free of plastic.

 

We have also adopted a circular approach to packaging by reusing bubble wrap and sourcing eco-friendly alternatives like air bubbles or honeycomb wrap.

 

In addition to packaging, we prioritise the use of reusable products. Our metal straw and cutlery ranges promote reusable products rather than single-use plastic alternatives. We have also increased manufacturing within our Hertfordshire workshop.

 

We utilise recycled silver in our products and ensure that all silver scraps are recycled to minimise waste. Items that are slightly damaged are redirected to charitable organisations rather than being sent to landfill, fostering a culture of reuse and minimising our environmental impact.

 

Additionally, we have made significant investments in renewable energy sources for our workshop, including solar panels and an air source heat pump.

 

Our commitment to sustainability also extends to transportation, with the installation of an electric car charging point and a preference for sea freight to minimise air miles. Through initiatives like our cardboard recycling program, our zero air mile goal for most products and our work with Planet to provide carbon-neutral deliveries, we are actively working towards a more sustainable future for our company and the planet.
